Scentsy text party script: 16 messages from invite to thank you
A Scentsy party in a chat has a shape: you ask a friend to host, you open the party with a link, you spotlight the warmers and Scentsy Bars, you close the party and you thank everyone. These 16 messages follow that shape in an Independent Scentsy Consultant's words, with the Host Rewards described the way Scentsy's own host page does and nothing about income or health. If your parties run in Facebook or Instagram, the shorter Instagram DM scripts fit the invitation step, and Herbalife follow up messages show how another company's customer care differs. Copy any message, or add all 16 to your keyboard and send them from any app in one tap.
Works in WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Messenger and every other app.
Words in {{double braces}} are blanks. In the textcuts keyboard you fill them with one tap, and the names you used recently come back.
Finding a host
Asking a friend to host
Essential
Hi {{name}}, I am opening some Scentsy party dates and thought of you. You would not have to sell anything. You share my party page with your friends, and Scentsy gives hosts Host Rewards, which are free and half price products. Want the details?
When to send: When you are booking parties and have someone in mind.
Why it works: It says plainly that the host does not have to sell, which is what most people worry about.
How the Host Rewards work
Pro
Here is how it works, {{name}}. Once your party total reaches Scentsy's minimum, you get free product and Host Deals, which are half price items, and both grow as the total grows. Every reward has to be used before the party closes. Scentsy explains it all here: {{link}}
When to send: After she says yes or asks how it works.
Why it works: It uses Scentsy's own words and tells her the one rule she must know.
Choosing the kind of party
{{name}}, there are three ways to do it: an online party on my party page, an in person party where friends smell the fragrances, or an on the go party where a Scentsy basket is passed around at work. Which fits your week?
When to send: When she agrees to host.
Why it works: Three clear choices make it easy to pick one.
Setting the dates
Online parties usually run about two weeks and in person ones about five days. Would {{day}} work to open your party? Tell me and I will set up your party page.
When to send: Right after she picks the style of party.
Why it works: A suggested day and length turn a maybe into a date.
Opening the party
The opener in the group chat
Essential
Hi everyone! {{name}} is hosting a Scentsy party and I am the Independent Scentsy Consultant for this party. It is open for two weeks. Warmers, Scentsy Bars, laundry and more are on the party page, and every order helps {{name}} with her Host Rewards. The link comes next.
When to send: The day the party opens.
Why it works: It says who you are, how long it runs and why an order matters to the host.
The party page link
Essential
Here is the party page: {{link}}. Start with the Scentsy Bars to find a fragrance you like, then look at the warmers that fit your room. Ask me anything and I will answer here.
When to send: Right after the opener.
Why it works: One link, one suggestion for where to start, and an open door for questions.
Spotlights during the party
Spotlight: warmers
Warmer spotlight. Standard Warmers use a low watt bulb and give a candle like glow. Element Warmers use a heating element and no bulb at all. Mini Warmers fit small spaces. Which room are you shopping for, {{name}}?
When to send: Day 2 or 3 of an online party.
Why it works: It explains the three types in a few lines and ends with a question that gets replies.
Spotlight: Scentsy Bars
Scentsy Bar spotlight. A bar goes into your warmer, and the warmer slowly warms the wax with a low watt bulb or a heating element. Tell me a scent you already love, {{name}}, and I will point you to a bar like it.
When to send: Day 4 or 5 of an online party.
Why it works: Asking about a scent she loves is easier than asking her to browse.
Spotlight: not a warmer person
Not a warmer person, {{name}}? From Unplugged there are Scent Circles, there are Scentsy Air fan diffusers with Pods, and for the laundry room there are Scentsy Suds and Dryer Disks. Want me to put a few picks in your cart?
When to send: Mid party, for guests who looked and did not order.
Why it works: It shows the rest of the catalog to people who do not want a warmer.
Spotlight: Hand Cream and gifts
Gift idea for the party, {{name}}: Scentsy has Hand Cream and Hand Soap in the Body section, and plenty of smaller items that ship well. Tell me who you are thinking of and I will suggest one.
When to send: Mid party, when guests start asking about gifts.
Why it works: Gifts are a natural reason to order and a small item is an easy yes.
Closing the party
Host check in before the end
Hi {{name}}, your party is going well. It is a good time to plan your Host Rewards, since they all have to be used before the party closes. Want to choose yours tonight or tomorrow?
When to send: Two or three days before the party closes.
Why it works: It reminds her of the one real deadline in the Host Rewards.
Last day for guests
Last day of {{name}}'s party, everyone. The party closes today, so this is the day to get any order in. Message me if you want a scent suggestion before you check out.
When to send: On the closing day, once.
Why it works: It states the real closing day and offers help instead of pressure.
Choosing the Host Rewards
Essential
Before I close your party, {{name}}, let us use your Host Rewards. Send me your picks and I will apply them. Some products are excluded and bigger items need more than one Host Deal, so I will tell you what works.
When to send: On the last day, before you close the party.
Why it works: It names the two limits Scentsy lists, so there are no surprises.
Thank you
Thank you to the host
Essential
{{name}}, thank you for hosting. You made it easy and your friends were wonderful to work with. I will text you when your order ships. Would you like to host again in a few months?
When to send: The day after the party closes.
Why it works: A real thank you and a soft question about next time.
Thank you to a guest
Essential
Thank you for ordering from {{name}}'s party. Your order is in and I will text you when it ships. If a scent is not what you expected, tell me. You can also cancel an order for any reason within three business days by contacting me.
When to send: After a guest's order.
Why it works: It states the three business day cancellation that Scentsy lists, which builds trust.
A guest who looked and did not order
Hi {{name}}, thanks for stopping by the party. I did not want to bother you. If a fragrance seemed too strong, I can suggest softer ones. And if you are all set, that is completely fine.
When to send: Once, after the party closes.
Why it works: It offers a fix for the most common reason someone leaves without ordering.
Earnings promises of any kind in party messages ("unlimited" income, five or six figures, "an extra amount every week"). In 2026 the Direct Selling Self-Regulatory Council reviewed 12 Scentsy salesforce posts of this kind, and Scentsy removed or changed them.
Instead: Leave income out of party messages. If someone asks about the business, send Scentsy's Income Disclosure Statement and let her read all of it.
Relying on a link to the Income Disclosure Statement to excuse a big earnings claim. The Council said a link alone, or "results may not be typical", is not enough.
"Free stuff for everyone who hosts." Host Rewards start only once the party reaches Scentsy's minimum, and every reward has to be used before the party closes.
Instead: Say what the host page says and send the link.
Posting party links in groups and pages that do not welcome them, or using official Scentsy pages to contact potential customers. Scentsy's social media guidelines say spam and solicitation are removed.
Instead: Ask the host to share the party page with her own friends.
Works in WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Messenger and every other app.
Frequently asked questions
How long should a Scentsy text party run?
Scentsy's host page suggests about 14 days for an online or on the go party and about five days for an in person party. Open it with the opener and the link, post a spotlight every couple of days, and send one last day message to guests.
What does a host get?
Scentsy calls them Host Rewards: free product and Host Deals, which are half price items, based on the party total after the party reaches a minimum before tax and shipping. All Host Rewards must be used before the party closes, and some products are excluded. The exact amounts change, so send the host to Scentsy's host page rather than quoting them.
What do I say when a guest asks about the Scentsy business?
Answer in a sentence and send the Income Disclosure Statement. It shows the commissions Scentsy paid to U.S. Consultants in two groups, those with Scentsy for the full year and those with it for part of the year. The figures are before business expenses and leave out product credit and trips, and results depend on the time and effort each Consultant puts in. Send the whole statement, not one number.
Can I send these in a group chat, WhatsApp or Instagram?
Yes. textcuts is a keyboard, so the templates work in every app where you type. Add guests to a party chat only if they have said yes.
Do these templates work on the free plan?
Yes. 15 of the 16 use a single blank, which fills in on the free plan. The other one uses two blanks and need Pro to fill both from the keyboard.
