Norwex party invitation messages: 16 templates for hosts, guests and follow ups
A Norwex event starts with a message: the ask to a friend who might host, the invitation the host sends, the reminder and the thank you. Norwex describes three ways to host, online, in person or by text, and it speaks of Hosts, Events, Event Sales, Bookings and Norwex Discounts, so these 16 messages use those words. They are written for a Norwex Independent Consultant and for the Hosts who invite their own friends, and they stay with what Norwex itself says: no germ talk, no health claims, no promises about money. If your event is a text party in general, the text party host script covers that too. Copy any message, or add all 16 to your keyboard and send them from WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram or Messenger.
Works in WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Messenger and every other app.
Words in {{double braces}} are blanks. In the textcuts keyboard you fill them with one tap, and the names you used recently come back.
Asking a friend to host
Asking a friend to host
Essential
Hi {{name}}, I'm a Norwex Independent Consultant, and I'm looking for a few friends to host an event this month. You can do it online, in person or by text, whichever suits you. As Host you receive Norwex Discounts based on Event Sales. Want me to walk you through it?
When to send: To a friend who already uses or likes Norwex.
Why it works: It offers three formats and says plainly what a Host gets.
Pitching the text event
Hi {{name}}, no cleaning your house for this one. A Norwex text event happens on your phone: I share a few products in a group chat, your friends order from my link, and you get Norwex Discounts as Host. Would you be up for it this week?
When to send: To someone who says they have no time or no space.
Why it works: It answers the two biggest reasons for no before they are said.
How Host rewards work
Essential
Here's how Host rewards work, {{name}}. The more Event Sales your event reaches, the more Norwex Discounts you receive, and booking another event adds perks. Norwex changes its Host offer every month, so I'll send you this month's before you decide.
When to send: When a friend asks what is in it for them.
Why it works: It promises nothing that changes next month.
New Host welcome gift
{{name}}, since you've never hosted with Norwex, there's a New Host Welcome Gift when your event reaches the Event Sales and booking requirement. I'll send you the exact terms first, so you know what counts before you invite anyone.
When to send: To a first time Host.
Why it works: Naming the conditions up front avoids a disappointed Host later.
Inviting guests
In person party invitation
Essential
Hi, I'm hosting a Norwex party at my place on {{day}} and I'd love you to come. A Norwex Independent Consultant will show a few favorites. You can look, ask questions and leave without buying anything. Can you make it?
When to send: The Host sends it a week before.
Why it works: It says what happens at the party and that buying is optional.
Online event invitation
Hi, I'm having an online Norwex event this week and you're invited. You can look at the photos when it suits you, ask my Consultant a question and order through the Consultant's link if you like. Join here: {{link}}
When to send: The Host sends it when the event opens.
Why it works: There is no set time to attend, so more people say yes.
Text event invitation
Essential
Hi {{name}}, I'm trying a Norwex text event this week, a short group chat on our phones. Can I add you? You can read along, ask a question or ignore it, and you can leave the chat any time.
When to send: The Host sends it a few days before.
Why it works: It asks before adding anyone and shows the way out.
Inviting a friend who lives far away
I know you're too far for my party, {{name}}, so my Consultant set up an online Norwex event as well. You can watch from home, ask questions and order from your own couch if something catches your eye. Shall I send you the link?
When to send: To friends in another town.
Why it works: Distance is no reason to leave a friend out.
Reminders
Reminder the day before
Reminder: my Norwex party is tomorrow at {{time}}. The address is in the invitation. Bring a friend if you like, and tell me if you can't come so my Consultant knows how many to expect.
When to send: The day before.
Why it works: One clear time and one request: a reply.
Reminder for an online event
The online Norwex event is still open. If you'd like to see what my Consultant shared, here's the link: {{link}}. Questions go to the Consultant, since I'm still learning too.
When to send: Two days before an online event closes.
Why it works: It is honest that the Host is not the expert.
After the event
Thank you to the Host
EssentialPro
Thank you for hosting, {{name}}. The event is open until {{date}}, and every order placed before then counts toward your Event Sales. I'll send your Norwex Discounts summary once it closes.
When to send: The evening of the event.
Why it works: It shows what the Host can still influence and when they will hear back.
Guest who could not come
No problem at all, {{name}}, and thank you for telling me. If you'd like to see what we showed, I can send the photos and my Consultant's link. No pressure either way.
When to send: When a guest declines.
Why it works: It keeps the door open without a pitch.
Inviting a guest to host their own
{{name}}, since my party didn't work for you, would you ever like to host your own? Norwex describes what Hosts receive on its host page, and I'm glad to answer any question first. If it's not for you, I won't ask again.
When to send: About a week later, to a guest who liked Norwex.
Why it works: It asks once and promises not to repeat.
Thank you for an order
Thank you for your order. Norwex will ship it to you, and I'll message you when I see the tracking. Please read the care instructions that come with your {{item}} before the first use.
When to send: The day the order is placed.
Why it works: Care instructions are the one claim every Consultant can repeat.
Staying within Norwex's rules
Product pick, no claims
Essential
Today's pick: {{item}}. Here's a photo and how I use it at home. I'm only sharing what I like, and the product page on norwex.com has the details. Ask me anything you can't find there.
When to send: During a text or online event.
Why it works: It shares your own use and sends guests to Norwex's page for the facts.
Moving an order out of the comments
Hi {{name}}, I saw your comment on the event. Orders can't be taken in the comments, so I'm messaging you here instead. Which one were you thinking of?
When to send: When someone tries to order on a public event page.
Why it works: Norwex's guidelines ask Consultants to take orders by private message, not on public pages.
Anything about germs, bacteria, disinfecting or "chemical free". Norwex tells Consultants to use only claims found in its current marketing materials, and a claim about germs is easy to overstate.
Instead: Say how you use the product, and link Norwex's own microfiber page if a guest asks.
Income lines such as "financial freedom", "residual income" or a monthly figure. In 2024 the Direct Selling Self Regulatory Council reviewed Norwex Facebook posts like these, and Norwex had them removed or changed.
Works in WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Messenger and every other app.
Frequently asked questions
Can I say Norwex cloths remove bacteria?
Leave it out of your own messages. Norwex tells its Consultants to use only claims found in its current marketing materials, and a claim about bacteria is easy to overstate. If a guest asks, link Norwex's own microfiber page and let them read it.
Where is Norwex's income disclosure?
Norwex publishes its Income Disclosure Statement, and its join page says there are no guarantees regarding income. Send the link when someone asks about the business, and say that results vary.
What do Hosts receive for a Norwex event?
Norwex describes Norwex Discounts based on Event Sales, extra perks for Bookings, and a welcome gift for new Hosts, all on its host page. The offers change monthly and have conditions, so check the page before you promise anything.
Can I invite people to a Norwex event in a public Facebook post?
You can invite guests to Norwex events, but Norwex's social media guidelines say public event pages may show only Norwex's corporate pricing, no discounts or giveaways, and no orders in the comments. Offers for your own customers belong in private chats or groups. Check the current guidelines in your Back Office.
Do these templates work on the free plan?
Yes. 15 of the 16 use a single blank, which fills in on the free plan. The thank you to the Host uses two blanks and needs Pro to fill both from the keyboard.
