After closing, Google
It was a pleasure working with you. If you have a few minutes, I'd value your honest review on Google: {{link}}. I read every review, whatever it says.
A strong set of reviews is the cheapest marketing an agent has, and the way you ask matters as much as who you ask. Since October 2024 an FTC rule has banned fake reviews and rewards tied to positive ones. Google also bans paid reviews and asking only happy customers, and Zillow has its own review guidelines. These 13 texts ask for an honest review in plain words, send everyone to the same place, and handle what comes next: a thank you, a critical review, and a request to quote. Copy any message, or add the whole pack to your keyboard and send it from iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram or any other app in one tap.

Words in {{double braces}} are blanks. In the textcuts keyboard you fill them with one tap, and the names you used recently come back.

Would you be willing to review me on Zillow? Say whatever reflects your experience. There are no right answers. Here is the link: {{link}}
{{name}}, I know parts of this sale were stressful. I'd still like to hear how it went for you, in your own words. If you're willing, I'll send you the review link.
How are the first weeks in the house, {{name}}? When you have a moment, a review of how the buying process went would help me, in your own words. Want the link?
You're welcome to post a review at {{link}}, and you're welcome to tell me directly too. Feedback in either place is useful. I ask every client the same.
Not sure what to write? Describe what happened: what you needed, how it went, what you'd tell a friend. Your own words are best. Link: {{link}}

Thank you for telling me this, {{name}}. I'm sorry the process fell short. I'd like to understand it better, and you can call me anytime. I won't ask you to change or remove your review.
May I quote your review, {{name}}, on my website? I would use only your words exactly as written, and I'd leave out your name if you prefer.
Would you be open to recording a short video about your experience? Any length, in your own words, nothing scripted. Send it here, {{name}}, and I'll ask before I use it anywhere.

"Leave a 5 star review and get a gift card." Paying for reviews, or tying a reward to positive ones, is against the FTC rule and Google's policy.
Instead: Ask for an honest review and thank them, with no reward attached.
"If you were happy, please review. If not, reply to me privately." Sending only happy clients to the review site hides honest opinions.
Instead: Ask everyone the same thing, as in the message that welcomes both a review and direct feedback.
"Please give us five stars." Asking for a specific rating turns an honest review into one you dictated.
Instead: Ask for an honest review and let the rating be theirs.
Writing the review for them ("say something like: great agent, sold fast").
Instead: Offer questions to think about, as in the message for people unsure what to write.
Asking people you did not work with, or posting reviews yourself or through friends.
Instead: Only ask clients and customers you really served.
Pressuring a client to take down or change a critical review, or offering something in return.
Instead: Answer privately and publicly with respect, and leave the review as it is.
Pressing for a review at the closing table or while a deal is still open.
Instead: Wait a few days or weeks until the move is behind them.

Skip it. Google's policy bans reviews influenced by a payment, discount or free gift, and the FTC rule bars rewards tied to positive reviews. Zillow has its own review guidelines too. A thank you text costs nothing and carries no risk.
You should. Google's policy does not allow asking only for positive reviews, and if you only ask the clients you expect to be happy, your reviews stop being an honest picture. Ask each client the same way and let the results land where they land.
Once. A reminder after about a week is fine, and then you stop. The reminder in this pack gives them a clear exit.
Offer the one you most want and mention the other if they prefer it. Send each client a link that goes straight to the right form, so there is one tap and nothing to search for.
Yes. 11 of the 13 use a single blank, which fills in on the free plan. The other two, the seller message and the year later ask, use two blanks and need Pro to fill both from the keyboard. The free plan holds 8 textcuts and 1 folder, and imports are never blocked, so you can add the whole pack and keep your favorites.
