Package renewal texts for coaches and trainers: 13 templates

Your client is about to finish their last block of sessions, and whether they renew is often decided in one chat. Ask too late and they have drifted. Ask too hard and it feels like a sales pitch. These 13 messages cover the heads up, the offer, price and budget talk, a not yet, and the thank you, in a voice that sounds like a coach, not a shop. Copy any of them, or add all 13 to your keyboard and send them from iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram or any other app in one tap.

Works in WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Messenger and every other app.

Words in {{double braces}} are blanks. In the textcuts keyboard you fill them with one tap, and the names you used recently come back.

Before it ends

Halfway

Hi {{name}}, you've got about half your sessions left. Nothing to do yet, just keeping you in the loop.

When to send: At the halfway mark.

Why it works: A calm heads up now makes the later one easy.

Two sessions left

Essential
Hello {{name}}, you have two sessions left in your package. Shall we talk about what comes next at your next one?

When to send: When two sessions remain.

Why it works: It plants the idea and suggests the place to discuss it.

Last one coming

Essential
{{name}}, your next session is the last in this package. Let's use it to look at how far you've come and plan what's next.

When to send: The day before the last session.

Why it works: A review makes renewing feel like the natural next step.

Goals for the next block

Essential
Before we renew, {{name}}, think about what you want from the next few months. Send me three things and we'll build around them.

When to send: In the last two weeks.

Why it works: The client writes the reason to continue.

The offer

Ask if they want options

Essential
Hey {{name}}, I'd love to keep working with you. I can send the options for another block, with prices and what each includes. Want them?

When to send: After the last session or review.

Why it works: It asks permission before the pitch.

Send the numbers

Pro
Hi {{name}}, a new block of {{count}} sessions is {{price}}. Same sessions, same time slot if you like. Reply yes and I'll book you in.

When to send: When they ask for the price.

Why it works: Clear, short and easy to answer.

Two ways to continue

{{name}}, there are a couple of ways to continue: weekly sessions or every other week. Tell me which fits your schedule and budget and I'll adjust the plan.

When to send: When the client is unsure about the commitment.

Why it works: Two honest choices beat one hard sell.

Budget talk

Thanks for being open about that, {{name}}. Let's look at a smaller option. Even fewer sessions can work well with a plan to follow on your own.

When to send: When money is the concern.

Why it works: It makes a smaller yes possible.

After the decision

Hold the slot

Hi {{name}}, your package ended last week. If you want to keep your usual slot, let me know in the next few days and I'll hold it.

When to send: A week after the package ended.

Why it works: It gives a real reason to answer soon.

Not ready yet

Essential
Completely fine, {{name}}. Take the time you need. If you'd like to come back later, message me and we'll pick up where we left off.

When to send: When they say not now.

Why it works: It leaves the door open without pressure.

Thank you for renewing

Essential
Thank you for renewing, {{name}}. I'm glad to keep going together. Your next session is already in my calendar.

When to send: As soon as they agree.

Why it works: It confirms the booking and shows your appreciation.

Payment received

Got your payment, {{name}}, thank you. I'll send a receipt today and book the next block this week.

When to send: When the money arrives.

Why it works: It reassures them and sets the next step.

Unused sessions

Hi {{name}}, a note that unused sessions expire on the date in your package terms. Let me know if you'd like to book the rest in before then.

When to send: A few weeks before expiry.

Why it works: It reminds them without scolding.

Do not say

  • Promising results if they renew ("another 12 weeks and you'll look completely different").

Instead: Talk about the plan and the work, and say results vary.

    Source

  • Fake deadlines ("price goes up tonight") when it is not true.

Instead: Give the real date, only if it is real.

  • Guilt ("after all we've done").

Instead: Remind them what they have achieved and ask what they want next.

  • Sending the renewal ask in the middle of a hard session week.

Instead: Pick the review session, when they can see their progress.

  • Hiding the price until the client agrees.

Instead: Send the options with prices when they ask.

  • Pushing after a clear no.

Instead: Thank them once and leave the door open.

Works in WhatsApp, iMessage, Instagram, Messenger and every other app.

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to ask for a renewal?

Mention it when two sessions remain, then ask properly after the review in the last session. Waiting until the package has ended costs you the momentum.

Do these work on the free plan?

Yes, mostly. 12 of the 13 templates use a single blank, which fills in from the keyboard on the free plan. The other 1 use two or more blanks, so filling every blank from the keyboard needs Pro. Free holds 8 textcuts and 1 folder, so the six essentials fit comfortably. Importing all of them also works, because imports are never blocked and nothing is deleted.

What if a client says they cannot afford it?

Offer a smaller block or a lower frequency with a plan to follow on their own. The "Budget talk" template does that.

Can I send these on WhatsApp and Instagram?

Yes. textcuts is a keyboard, so the templates work in every app where you type, including iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and SMS.
